Bellair Health Park
Planning approval is in place for this proposed development. The plans will replace the existing GP premises of Alverton, Rosmellyn and Sunnyside in Penzance, as well as the PCT accommodation currently located in Bellair Health Office, to create a single site and create cost savings and efficiencies with the disposal of outdated, costly to maintain accommodation.
The proposed new development will replace the existing cramped GP and PCT accommodation which are of poor design and offer no potential for service expansion. The new facility will alleviate these problems by providing a single site, purpose-built health facility, bringing together medical, nursing, therapy and social care services.
By uniting community services for Penzance into one building, improved communication, easier patient access and the space to provide the existing and enhanced future services that are required, can be provided.
